Terms of Service
Last updated: August 8, 2026
These terms govern use of Polly by Cwoted (“the Service”), an AI phone receptionist for businesses, operated from Toronto, Ontario. By creating a workspace or using the Service you agree to them.
What the Service is
Polly answers your business’s phone calls with an AI assistant that can converse in your enabled languages, answer questions from knowledge you approve, book appointments against your configured schedule, take messages, and transfer calls to your team. You control its configuration from your dashboard, and every call produces a transcript you can review.
What the Service is not
- It is an AI system. It is designed to say “I don’t know” rather than guess, but like any AI it can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing transcripts, messages, and bookings, and for the knowledge you publish to it.
- It is not an emergency service. Callers describing emergencies are told to call 911; the Service must not be used as a channel for urgent medical, legal, or safety matters.
- It does not provide professional (medical, legal, financial) advice and must not be configured to do so.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate business information, and keep your published knowledge lawful and current — the assistant answers from it.
- Where you forward an existing number to the Service, you are responsible for having the right to do so and for any disclosures to your callers required in your jurisdiction.
- Keep your account credentials confidential.
- Do not use the Service to harass, deceive, spam, or impersonate, or for any unlawful purpose.
Fees
Plans are billed monthly in Canadian dollars with a one-time onboarding fee, as published on the pricing page. Each plan includes a set number of AI call minutes; additional minutes are billed at the published per-minute overage rate. Usage is metered per call and always visible in your dashboard.
Your data
Your workspace data — transcripts, messages, appointments, knowledge — belongs to you. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data by request at any time.
Availability and liability
We aim for continuous availability but the Service depends on third-party telephony, AI, and hosting providers and is provided “as is” without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including missed calls or lost business opportunities.
Termination
You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination we will, at your choice, export or delete your workspace data.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to account owners by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Questions: ibragimovyonatan@gmail.com.
